Ergonomic Utensils with Travel Bag- Lavender
HOW IT WORKS
Grabease utensils are designed to safely nurture independence in little ones ready to meet their self-feeding developmental milestone. Their patented fork and spoon sets were the first utensils designed with babies’ independence in mind, and they come highly recommended by Occupational Therapists. The ergonomic handle fits comfortably in babies' natural hand grasp, making the hand-to-mouth motion easier! Using this set will also help strengthen their fingers while encouraging proper pencil grasp development (this will come in handy later!).
HOW TO USE
Help your little one position the handle in the center of their palm for a vertical grasp. Our utensils feature a choke protection shield to add a layer of safety while your little one builds confidence in self-feeding. Their utensils are the perfect learning tool for baby led weaning and beyond! Use the included travel bag to bring your utensils on the go.
WHY WE MADE THIS
Maya, the founder, created grabease utensils to fill a void in the world of baby feeding products. As she watched her own baby struggle to self-feed with toddler spoons and forks, she envisioned utensils made for babies to use themselves. Thus, grabease was born!
Grabease utensils are dishwasher safe (top rack only), and are BPA-free, phthalate-free, lead and pvc-free. They are FDA-tested safe and are rigorously tested to ensure CPSIA and EU compliance. Grabease utensils are perfect for babies 6 months and up!
Scooping is hard. Start with working on hand mouth connection by preloading the grabease fork and spoon with food for your lil one.
BABY SEE, BABY DO
Place utensils preloaded on your lil one’s table and don’t try to hand it to them. Sit next to them and eat something using your own utensils. These little curious creatures will most likely reach out to the utensils on their own and start exploring. Give them time!
LET THEM BE MESSY
Children explore through touching. Mashing food supports their sensory development.
Let them play with their food. You can engage with them by asking if the food feels good, is it also yummy?
