The head measures around 3.5 inches in diameter and the total length is between 8 and 9 inches, depending of the cotton.

This product has been used widely in different NICU around the country. Preemie babies and babies like octopus because they remember the umbilical cordon and feel comforted. This idea come from Denmark, where a father asked for a crochet octopus for his baby. The nurses noticed that the baby pulled the tentacles instead the tubes, improving his health rapidly.
